The rigorous R Stamp certification process includes a written quality system in line with the National Board Inspection Code, which details how a company will control, document, and maintain its boiler service and repair records. Welders at Evans Welding and Fabrication must also complete challenging weld tests that meet ASME Section IX Welding Standards.

Scott Evans has 3+ years of experience repairing historical steam traction engine boilers and has been operating and repairing steam engines since he was 8 years old.
Scott restored his first tractor at 10 years old and was a national finalist in the Delo Tractor Restoration Contest in 2014 and 2015
